Paul McCartney: George Martin was ‘like a second father to me’

(AP) – Musicians, politicians and others are paying tribute to music producer George Martin, who has died aged 90. Martin was a producer for The Beatles.

Musician Paul McCartney said, “George Martin was ‘like a second father to me.”

John Lennon’s son Sean gave his condolences on Instagram.

One of the creators of the song “Uptown Funk,” Mark Ronson, tweeted thanks.

British Prime Minister David Cameron spoke of the producer


Gary Kemp of Spandau Ballet also gave condolences.
