Two Teens Shot in Savannah, Police Looking for Suspects

SAVANNAH, Ga. – SCMPD officers are investigating two Wednesday afternoon shootings where teenagers were the victims.

The first happened around 3:30pm in the 4300 block of Worth Street.  There police found a 15-year-old boy suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.  Police found that the teen was shot at 48th and Bulloch Streets and was then taken in an unknown vehicle to Worth Street.

A few minutes later, police found a 16-year-old shot in the 700 block of Atlanta Street.  That teen’s injuries were serious.  Both were transported to Memorial medical Center.

Investigators believe the shootings are linked and are working to determine the events leading up to these incidents and the identities of any suspects.
