UGA Football Great and Author visits St. Andrew’s School

The Savannah Book Festival begins tomorrow and you can meet famous authors such as Erik Larson, Rita Mae Brown and Debbie Macomber.
One author appearing this weekend is really generating some buzz.
Malcolm Mitchell, a wide receiver for the University of Georgia, published a children’s book called “The Magician’s Hat” and today he spent time with the students at St. Andrew’s School.
“I’m just hoping that I can send a message that they can grasp hold of and apply to life. You know, that means more to me than anything else when I enter the auditorium or the classroom.”
Mitchell answered students’ questions and signed copies of his book.
You can hear Mitchell’s inspirational story tomorrow morning at 10am. at the Savannah Book Festival.
He’s speaking at the Lutheran Church Sanctuary on Wright Square.
