SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – One man is dead, the other is recovering after a shooting on Montgomery street Friday night.
SCMPD investigators responded to the Marathon Gas station on the 1800 block of Montgomery street at about 8:15 p.m. and found Jerald Allen, 36, and Rashiid Wright, 26, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
The men were transported to Memorial University Medical Center where Allen died from his injuries. Wright’s injuries are non-life-threatening.
Suspect information and circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation.

Around 8:45 p.m. a shooting occurred at the Marathon Gas Station on Montgomery at the cross street of W 34th in Savannah. Two males were shot, one in serious condition and one with non-life threatening injuries. Both were transported to Memorial Hospital. The suspect is unknown at the moment.
