MACON, GA – The alleged suspect in a Macon shooting that killed 23 year-old Jibri Bryan was denied bond today.
According to the Macon Telegraph, Damion Deray Henderson was arrested Friday night in near Atlanta following a three-day manhunt.
Henderson, 34, is charged with felony murder. He stood in front of a judge Saturday afternoon for his initial hearing to set bond, but the judge denied it.
The Telegraph also reports Henderson requested a probable cause hearing, which a Bibb County judge set for Feb. 22 in a courtroom inside the county lockup.
Bryan’s funeral arrangements have been set for Tuesday at 11:00 am at St. James Catholic Church, 8412 Whitfield Avenue, Savannah, GA 31406.
The second suspect in the shooting is still recovering in the local hospital.
