A letter from the owners of historic Savannah Restaurant Johnny Harris was sent to Savannah leaders Wednesday.
In that letter, they said despite efforts to save the iconic building on Victory Drive, it will be demolished. They do thank customers for their loyal support, but say the infrastructure of the building is not built to continue without a major investment. Also, the restaurant is very costly to operate compared to other modern restaurants.
