Local Musicians Host Benefit Concert for Flint Water Crisis

(Savannah, GA)- Flint, Michigan, is suffering a major water crisis and a number of local musicians are banding together to help.

Tonight, they’re holding an impromptu benefit concert to raise money and awareness about the toxic drinking water that has families in dire straits.

Gary Swindell, Jr., Antwan Smalls and Life Worthy, Porchia Mitchell, Dedrick Clark, Unveiled, and LMG are among many artists scheduled to perform at the “One Love” Benefit Concert for Flint, Michigan.

The event begins at 7:30 pm at Faith on the Move Ministries (810 East Broad Street).

Monetary donations will be accepted. According to the event organizer, a number of churches have already pledged their support. All of the proceeds will be used to purchase bottled water for the residents of Flint.
