ATM stolen from Savannah bar, Police investigating

An ATM inside a bar on Skidaway Road was stolen earlier this month and Islands Precinct detectives are searching for the men who did it.

It happened on January 5th in the 2400 block of Skidaway Road.  Police say they responded to the bar around 5:30am after a security alarm went off.

Investigators believe two men, riding in a white Chevrolet cargo van, forced their way into the bar, carried the ATM, out and loaded it in the van  They also pried open several game machines and took the money inside.

Police believe they left on 41st street going west.
