It’s Official, 2015 Was the Warmest Year on Record

NASA and NOAA confirm that 2015 was the warmest year on record. Records have been kept since 1880.

2015 crushed the previous record warm year, 2014, by 0.23 degrees Fahrenheit.

Since the late 1800’s the average temperature of the earth has risen 1.8 degrees Fahrenheit. According to NASA, the change in temperature is mainly because of the increase in carbon dioxide and other human made emissions into the atmosphere.

15 of the 16 warmest years on record have been since 2001.
