Our Hometown: Registration open for MLK Express-Success Youth Showcase

Calling all young artists- singers, dancers, poets, comedians! Here’s your time to shine!
Savannah’s MLK Observance Day Association is gearing up for its annual Express Success Education Career and Youth Talent Showcase.

Although the event is still a few weeks away, performance spaces are limited.

There will also be a panel discussion focused on children and youth, centered around the philosophy of Dr. King. The topic “Self Esteem and Self Image.”

The event takes place, Saturday, January 30 from 10 am to 4 pm at the Coastal Georgia Center on Fahm Street. News 3’s Kim Gusby and E-93’s Kenya Cabine will host the youth showcase.
