Metro Police have obtained warrants for the arrest of 32-year-old Ronnie Nicholson in connection with a fatal shooting on Friday.
Officers say at about 4, they responded to the 400 block of W. 60th st and found Kawammi Jackson, 36, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Jackson was pronounced dead on the scene.
A man fitting Nicholson’s description was found leaving the scene near the time of the shooting, he faces charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and terroristic threats and acts.
Nicholson is 5’10” and should be considered armed and dangerous.

A call came in close to 4 p.m. about a shooting outside one of the homes on West 60th Street.
One male was killed.
As of now, W. 60th Street is shut down at Montgomery.
As the investigation begins, police currently have no information as to why or how the shooting happened.
