Mississippi Storm Recovery

The donations are pouring in where tornadoes hit Wednesday night, killing at least 12 people across four southern states.

The worst seems to be in northern Mississippi where many people are spending their Christmas cleaning up and helping the newly homeless.

Brix Fowler from Holly Springs, MS…

It’s a rainy day here in the Mid South, but that hasn’t stopped volunteers from opening the multi-purpose center here in Holly Springs to help out the victims of the tornadoes and boy are they generous.  Look at all the gifts that they’ve gotten over the last day and a half.  Everything from household items and toiletries and food to Christmas gifts.

The cleanup effort continues tonight.

The Red Cross has been assisting people who have lost their homes.

You can donate too by going to REDCROSS.ORG or calling 1-800-RED-CROSS.
