Savannah Could See a Mild Winter

December into January…  if you’re hoping for lots of cold weather days, you may be out of luck.

El Nino may succeed in keeping Arctic air out of much of the United States for much of the winter season.

El Nino happens when tropical Pacific waters are warmer than average.  It’s a weather pattern than can last for several months or even a few years, and it’s a weather pattern that can affect much of the world.

Well, here at home, it could mean a big savings on your heating bill.

Keep in mind, however, that this doesn’t mean we won’t have some chilly days.  Much of December and part of January could be warmer than average.  Only time will tell…
