Our Hometown: ‘A Century of Sentries’ at Old Fort Jackson

Did you know Old Fort Jackson has seen 100 years of military conflict?

You’re invited to learn about the importance of the fort’s location during its special “A Century of Sentries” program, Friday, November 27 thru Sunday, November 29 from 9 am to 5 pm.

Bring the family to Explore the daily life of a soldier, while uncovering stories about the people and units once stationed there.

There will be marching, battle reenactments, heavy artillery drill and musket and cannon demonstrations.

The event is FREE for members; general admission is $7 for adults; $4 for children.
