Teenagers arrested for stealing liquor from HHI restaurants over Halloween weekend

Three teenagers are charged with Burglary 2nd Degree and Petit Larceny, for stealing bottles of liquor from popular Hilton Head Island restaurants over Halloween weekend. River Carter, 17, Devon Williams, 17, and Evan Hill, 18, were arrested, held at the Beaufort County Detention Center, then released on bond.

Hudson’s Seafood House and Skull Creek Boathouse reported missing bottles of liquor on Monday morning. They pulled surveillance camera footage from time after each restaurant closed Sunday night, and investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office observed three male subjects enter the outside bar at Hudson’s, then at Skull Creek. After posting their images, numerous tips from citizens led to arrests. The majority of liquor bottles were recovered.

The Sheriff’s Office thanks all those who provided information to help resolve these investigations, and recommends businesses who do not utilize surveillance cameras to do so.
