Metro Investigating Tuesday Evening Shooting

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department are seeking help in the investigation of a shooting that took place Tuesday, October 20 that left Brandon Wright, 25, with non-life threatening injuries.

According to SCMPD, around 5:22 p.m. Metro responded to a call from a residence on the 600 block of West 54th Street, where Wright was driven by an acquaintance after being shot.

Wright was taken to Memorial University Medical Center for care. He was reportedly shot while walking near West 38th and Montgomery streets.

While detectives are pursuing verifying the location of the shooting and the identifying the suspect.

The circumstance around the shooting are still under investigation.
