Explosion in Afghanistan Targets Foreign Troops

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) –  A security official says there were no fatalities in an explosion in Afghanistan that targeted a convoy of foreign troops in the capital, Kabul.

Gen. Abdul Rahman Rahimi, the Kabul city police chief, said that three Afghan civilians were wounded in the attack in the center of the city when it was choked with traffic. The blast targeted two armored vehicles belonging to foreign forces attached to the NATO Resolute Support Mission.

There is disagreement over whether it was a suicide bombing or a roadside device.
