Seeds of change for one of Savannah’s oldest Catholic schools.
A momentous celebration this morning marking a milestone as ground was broken for a new Blessed Sacrament School Campus.
Attracting new students and the old building sparked a need for a larger school.
Phase one includes a cafeteria, additional classrooms, and school offices.
“Blessed Sacrament has had such a wonderful effect on this community for a long time, and for the next 100 years we have to prepare, we need to have appropriate buildings, and we really need to continue that legacy. That’s what this is all about,” says Father Brett Brannen.
Construction on the new school is set to begin next month.
