INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An online fundraiser has been set up to help a puppy found injured along an Indianapolis interstate on Monday.
According to the post on GoFundMe, a woman driving on I-465 saw a man crouched down on the shoulder next to the puppy. They say she was unable to move and it would have been a long time until help arrived.
The two brought the puppy to a local animal hospital where staff said she had a broken leg that requires surgery. She also has torn pads, deep lacerations, multiple abrasions and fractured nails that she suffered from possibly being thrown for a moving vehicle.
The Good Samaritans are asking for donations to help pay for her surgery. To donate, click here.
