The Beaufort County School Board has called a special meeting for Monday, September 21 after Superintendent Jeffrey Moss was accused of nepotism.
Moss hired his wide for a district position, after amending the district nepotism policy in late July/early August. Several citizens have criticized Moss, the district and the board, even petitioning for Moss’ resignation.
The board will go into executive session at 5 p.m., at the district office’s media center, 2900 Mink Point Blvd. Beaufort, South Carolina.
