Make Pumpkin Spice Lattes At Home!

Pumpkin Spice Latte recipe:

SIMPLE PUMPKIN SYRUP:

1 (15 oz.) can pumpkin puree

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 pinch nutmeg

1/2 tablespoon cinnamon

1 cup water

Combine in small sauce pan over medium low heat. Simmer 20 minutes to allow all sugars to melt. Then strain into a bowl.

SIMPLE VANILLA SYRUP:

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 vanilla bean pods

Simmer in a sauce pot until sugar melts. Store in a mason jar.

TO MAKE YOUR PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE AT HOME:

Add 1 teaspoon vanilla syrup and 1 tablespoon pumpkin syrup to milk. Stir to combine ingredients and heat in the microwave for 1 minute. Slowly add the warm milk to 2 shots of espresso. (If you don’t have espresso, add milk to 1 cup of coffee.) Top with whipped cream and Pumpkin Spice Topping (equal parts clove, ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon).
