Heavy Rains in Charleston cause mudslides and flooding

The City of Charleston along with other coastal areas is experiencing flooding due to heavy rain.

Heavy rainfall makes driving significantly more difficult for city drivers. 6.43 inches of rain have fallen so far today, making it the 5th wettest day all time at Charleston International Airport.

On Monday morning, a Flash Flood Warning was issued through 9:00 a.m. for the Charleston Metro Area. That included Berkeley, Dorchester and Charleston Counties.
