Woman Wanted In Southside Attack Turns Herself In

UPDATE: News coverage of Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s search for Shawnta Robinson resulted in her arrest on Wednesday night. Robinson turned herself in at police headquarters. She is charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery.


Savannah Metro Police are looking for a woman who they say cut another woman and left her with serious injuries.

Investigators have an arrest warrant for 30 year old Shawnta Robinson.   Police say Robinson cut 35 year old Malaka Dixon during an incident at Windsor Crossings Apartment on August 9th.

Robinson is a black female, she is five feet six inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds.    Police say she frequents Savannah’s Southside and may be driving a green Ford Expedition.
