Wal-Mart to stop selling Military-style weapons

Wal-Mart is in the process of pulling modular sniper rilfles, or MSR’s, from store shelves and will focus more on selling other sports and hunting firearms.

Wal-Mart’s Senior Director for Corporate Communications Kory Lundberg says the decision was based on customer demand.

In a statement to NBC News, he said “We previously carried M-S-Rs in less than a third of our stores. We are no longer carrying those items and instead focusing on other hunting and sportsman firearms such as shot guns and rifles based on customer demand.”
