Shots Fired, Arrest Made In Domestic Dispute

Savannah police have arrested a 23-year-old man after, they say, he fired shots during a domestic dispute.

Police were called to Heritage Place Apartments Tuesday morning.  Officers tell News 3, Eric Davis assaulted and threatened his 27-year-old girlfriend.  Davis left the residence but encountered the woman and a friend a short time later near the intersection of East 35th and Florence Streets.  Police say, he then opened fire on the women.  No one was injured by the gunshots.

Davis is charged with aggravated assault and multiple traffic violations.
