SAA Makes Newsweek’s List of Top U.S. High Schools

Savannah Arts Academy is one of seven Georgia schools to make Newsweek’s list of top U.S. high schools.

The news magazine has released its 2015 High School Rankings- recognizing the achievements of the best public high schools in the nation for college readiness.

The rankings include “America’s Top High Schools” – a list of 500 that ranks schools based on performance and “Beating The Odds,” which rates schools based on performance, while also accounting for student poverty rates.

Georgia schools on the list:

Savannah Arts Academy  (272)

Columbus High School (311)

DeKalb School of the Arts (368)

Lambert High School  (421)

Milton High School (431)

Alpharetta High School (486)

Chattahoochee High School (499)
