Four prostitution-related arrests were made late Wednesday night in a joint operation by Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Southside Precinct Crime Suppression Unit and the US Department of Homeland Security.
The undercover operation took place at a hotel on Abercorn Street and targeted pimps, prostitutes and individuals soliciting these services.
This operation comes in the wake of several recent crimes targeting prostitutes.
“Prostitution is a crime that fosters other types of criminal activities such as drugs, robberies, and aggravated assaults,” said Capt. Terry Shoop, Commander of SCMPD’s Southside Precinct. “We are very pleased with the outcome of last night’s operation and will continue these operations as needed.”
Taylor Lynn Rogers, 25, is charged with prostitution and escorting without a license. Nicole Dale, 23, is charged with prostitution, escorting without a license and felony obstruction. Michelle Hyden, 46, is charged with pimping. David Atlee Gibson, 57, is charged with pandering.
