A group of local musicians used their talents to raise money for the families of the Charleston shooting victims.
Members of the community gathered at Savannah’s Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church on Abercorn Street Tuesday night.
That’s where some Savannah Arts Academy graduates put on a concert of choral music.
They asked those who attended to donate at least $7 to the cause.
The collection basket at the entrance to the church was full of money.
The concert was a chance for people in Savannah to show solidarity with those in Charleston who are mourning a great loss.
