Matthew Ajibade gag order expected

This morning, News 3 finds out whether the latest gag order will be granted in the Matthew Ajibade case.

Fistrict Attorney Meg Heap filed the gag order motion on Friday.

Her office argues that Attorney Bobby Phillips, who is defending former deputy Mazine Evans on involuntary manslaughter and perjury charges, made inappropriate public statements about the case to WSAV News 3 after a court hearing last week.

This is the second gag order the DA has sought in the case.

Judge James Bass imposed a gag order on Ajibade family attorney Will Claiborne last month.
