(Savannah) – For 65 years the Knights of Columbus in Savannah have treated the senior football players in town to a preseason banquet. This year former NFL player Paul Carrington served as the guest speaker at the K of C on Liberty Street downtown.

Local high school coaches had the chance to introduce their staff and players to a jam-packed room. Everyone was treated to a full meal and a speech by Carrington, who graduated from Effingham County High School and went on to play for the Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos.
