Savannah, GA – Calvary Day School is coming off of a strong season last year with a 12-1 record. During a region title game against ECI their starting quarterback Salvador Calderon was injured. Calderon threw for more than a thousand yards and thirteen touchdowns last season, before missing the playoffs with a foot injury. But after working hard during the off season doing physical therapy, Calderon was ready to get back on to the field. Calderon is going into his junior year and will be starting quarterback again. Many of his team members are looking at him to be a leader, and Calderon is up to the task.
