Group That Helps At Risk Youth Gives Out School Supplies

SAVANNAH- Getting back to school for the first official week students of all ages had the chance to grab some more free supplies with a back to school bash in Liberty City.

The event just finished up earlier this afternoon. Students and their families not only got a chance for some family fun but grab back to school bags with essential notepads and pencils. the event was hosted by the Savannah Clubhouse an organization that works to help at risk youth in the community.

“It’s not just about my program..it’s more so of help our youth, let’s support education, encourage education and encourage the youth to go to school it’s very important now-a-days,’ says Savannah Clubhouse program manager Teneka Gerido.

The Savannah clubhouse actively seeks applications for parents who want their teens involved in programs for after school events. You can get in contact with clubhouse administrators at 912-661-7014
