FUGITIVE FILES: Probation Violator Using False Names to Avoid Capture

She’s been in and out of the system since 2001 on a variety of charges.

This fugitive files suspect has an unusual first name and a series of last names, both fake and real.

Beliques Smalls is 33 years old, but started a criminal career when she was just 18, all the way back in 2001.

“(charges including) False information to police,obstruction, escape,” explained Corporal Andrew Staley of the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office.

Now she is on the run again, this time for a probation violation connection to an assault and a series of new charges.

“Theft by shoplifting, possession of marijuana less than an ounce, obstruction, giving false name and address to police, forgery, theft by deception,” details Cpl Staley.

Deception is a word used most often for Smalls, who goes by the name Beliques Bowens.

“They know how to use different names and always different places different names, change their appearance to elude capture,” says Staley.

Smalls is 5’2″ 135 pounds. She last lived in Carver Village, the 1000 block of Cubbage street.
