Three bodies were found in a Florida home in what investigators believe to be a ritual killing.
Voncile Smith, 77, and her two sons, Richard and John, were found mutilated in the same way, on a special night in some witchcraft lore.
Escambia county sheriff says “witchcraft” is involved in the murders of an elderly woman and her two sons. The bodies were found laid out for some kind of ritual, and one of the sons, Richard, found brutally murdered with his family was a key member of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
The Smith family were said to be wealthy, but reclusive, living in their home for 27 years.
There was a sizable amount of cash found in a safe that was not taken.
Detectives are still working the case, but they have a person of interest. He’s described as a white male with specific ties to this case and in a faction of witchcraft.
