Men sought for questioning in homicide case

(SAVANNAH, Ga.) – Savannah Police are looking for two people for questioning in an ongoing homicide case.

50-year-old Michael Anthony Johnson was shot and killed at the intersection of 42nd and Montgomery streets.

Police want to speak to two black men in their teens or early 20s in connection with Johnson’s death.

The first has thin shoulder length dreadlocks, including some with blonde tips. His frame is average to athletic. He may have a goatee. The second person has a thin frame, light brown complexion, a short afro and hair on his chin. He may frequent or reside in west Savannah.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of these individuals should call Crimestoppers at (912) 234-2020 or text CRIMES (274637) using the keyword CSTOP2020. Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
