(WTMJ) A 13-year old Wisconsin boy is facing charges after stealing his social worker’s car and leading police on a chase through Milwaukee.
It started Thursday afternoon when the teen’s social worker at a county facility on Watertown Plank Road called to report a stolen car. Sheriff’s Deputies were able to trace her car thanks to OnStar technology.
Dashcam video shows the stolen car moving through the streets of Milwaukee at a high rate of speed, making quick turns and dodging cars.
The 13-year-old driver is almost hit as he bails from the moving car. Four other teens, ages 14 to 16, also jumped and ran.
The Sheriff’s Office says the teen driver was out on probation for a firearms possession. Sheriff David Clarke called the kid driver “rotten to the core.”
Sheriff Clarke blamed the criminal justice system, saying: “The 13-year-old in this incident received a stayed sentence (he was not held accountable and was put back into the ghetto.)”
