The Savannah Impact Program says it needs your help with it’s School Supplies Drive. The organization hasn’t collected enough donations from it’s Stuff the Container campaign. On July 1st a mini storage container was placed outside the SIP office at 33rd and Drayton streets. The goal is to stuff the container with back to school supplies, uniforms and non perishable food items.
Everything collected is scheduled to be distributed to families in need during the August 4th National Night Out event in Savannah. Donations can be dropped off at the SIP office, Savannah Metro Police headquarters or any SCMPD precinct from 8am until 5pm.
SIP is a specialized unit within the Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department with helps high risk and at risk youth and adults.
