(Bluffton) – A major golf tournament brings together hundreds of volunteers. That’s the case this week at Colleton River Plantation for the USGA’s U.S. Junior Amateur Championship. The 400 volunteers helping out on the Pete Dye course provide many different roles… from cooling stations to standard bearers to “Quieters”.

The U.S. Junior Am runs through Saturday (weather permitting) but could last into Sunday. Admission is FREE and open to the public.
Hilton Head Island’s Andrew Orischak has made it to the final 16 in Match Play and will tee off Friday morning. The final two golfers will play a 36 hole Match-Play event.
