Savannah NAACP Town Hall Meeting to Address Police Use of Force

‘Police use of force’ and the relationships between officers and communities throughout the county will be the focus of the upcoming local NAACP Town Hall Meeting.

The Savannah Branch has invited police chiefs from all local municipalities to participate including: Savannah/Chatham County Metro Chief Joseph Lumpkin, Pooler Chief Mark Revenew, Garden City Chief David Lyons, Bloomingdale Chief Roy Pike, Tybee Chief Robert Bryson, Thunderbolt Chief Robert Merriman, and Port Wentworth Chief Matthew Libby.

The General Mass Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, July 26, 4 pm at the New Covenant Church located at 2201 Bull Street. Dr. Andrew Young, Sr. Pastor.
