Severe storms produced 50-60 mph winds Wednesday around parts of Richmond Hill…enough to snap and uproot trees.
During the height of the storm the Reyes family heard a loud explosion, jumped off their couch, and found a massive tree slicing right through the back of their house. Unfortunately the gash from the tree allowed rainwater to quickly seep in…causing even more damage. Thankfully when the tree came down the family was at the front of the house and unharmed. Storm damage is estimated to be at least $50,000, but the Reyes family does have insurance.
