Prayer Vigil for Chattanooga Shooting Victims

A prayer vigil was held tonight in Chattanooga, Tennessee for the four fallen marines that were gunned down in Thursday’s horrific shootings.

People in the community gathered at Olivet Baptist Church to remember the four marines whose lives were taken by the gunman, identified as Muhammad Abdulazeez.

The community is trying to heal over the tragedy while praying and leaning on each other.

A number of officials had the opportunity to say a few words, including Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke.

In a news conference Thursday, he praised the work of law enforcement and how they reacted to the tragic situation.

Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam also gave some words of encouragement to the large crowd.
