Savannah Animal Control is offering a day to surrender exotic pets on Georgia’s first pet amnesty day, this Saturday, July 18.

The targeted animals include everything from birds, snakes, hamsters, lizards to raccoons, monkeys, and even fish.

Owners sometimes let their pets loose in the wild when they’re tired of them. It’s a trend pet amnesty day hopes to prevent.
