FUGITIVE FILES: SCMPD Searching for Wanted Burglary Suspect

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police need the public’s help finding a man who stole guns from a Southside home.

Roland Parker Jr. has a extensive criminal history – and is now wanted by both Chatham County Sheriff’s and Savannah-Chatham Metro Police for burglarizing a Southside home.

“They kicked in the front door, walked in, rummaged through the house, located two rifles and a shotgun,” said SCMPD Detective Zachary Burdette.

The person investigators say was Parker’s partner, Hakeem Campbell, was just arrested by police after a chase off Bee road.

Parker remains at large, and dangerous.

“Anytime you put rifles or a shotgun in a person’s hands that has a history like this its definitely a danger for the community, as well as themselves,” explained Detective Burdette.

Roland parker has a history of weapons and robbery charges dating back to 2009.

He is 6’1″ 200 lbs, and investigators believe he is still in Savannah, and possibly still committing crimes.
