On a playoff-clinching Sunday, the Savannah Sand Gnats capped it off with a win over Augusta, 8-5.  Earlier in the day the Greenville Drive lost to Lakewood, sending the Sand Gnats into a celebration for winning the 1st Half of the season in the South Atlantic League’s Southern Division before even taking the field.

Augusta, GA – The Savannah Sand Gnats won their fifth First Half Southern Division Championship in six years with a 8-5 victory over the Augusta GreenJackets at Lake Olmstead Stadium on Sunday.
