(Savannah) – Beach High School grad Markeith Cummings continues his quest for a shot in the NBA. He spent time at his alma mater this weekend to teach the game he knows and loves to the youth of our area.

Cummings finished up a stellar career at Beach, helping the Bulldogs to a 28-win season in 2007. He later played at Kennesaw State University, scoring 17 points per games over a four-year playing career.
Since then Cummings has played in the Philippines and with three teams in the NBA Developmental League… the Suns, Knicks and Heat.
He thanks his parents for sacrificing their time for his opportunities in life.. and his DREAM to play in the NBA.
