Coaching is in Greg Busby’s blood.  He’s been at it since playing for his father, Howard “Buzz” Busby, at Central Tuscaloosa (AL).  Now he’s coming to Savannah to take over the Windsor Forest Knights, a team that finished 0-10 last season.  Busby comes from Dublin where he served as offensive coordinator.

Busby’s father led the Statesboro High School Blue Devils to the Class-AAAA State Title in 2001.

Prior to his time at Dublin High School, Greg Busby coached at Forsyth Central, Toombs County and Montgomery County.  The latter was his first head coaching position, going 13-27 from 2008-2011.  He has also coached at South Effingham, Burke County, Pike County and Thomas County Central.

Busby is a grad of West Alabama (’01) where he played Center on the football field.

Busby will lead the Knights against Savannah High September 3rd on the WSAV Thursday Night Blitz Game of the Week.
