Frederick Britton is a wanted man.

He’s been arrested multiple times on theft charges starting back in 2007, now wanted again for another crime.

“There’s some construction site in the community and a lot of copper and mental was stolen from the building,” explains SCMPD Sgt Nicole Kohles.
And Savannah-Chatham Metro Police say that may not be his only offense.

“We are looking to speak to him because of the type of material he has taken,” said Sgt Kohles. “The manner in which the materials were stolen, it’s the same as this incident.”

Frederick Britton is 43 years old, 5’10” 170 lbs.
Police believe he is in Savannah, but say he is homeless and could be anywhere in the city.

“Heading out to the shelters doesn’t work a whole lot because they are not there during the day,” explained Kohles. “So our best bet is to try and get there in the evening time.”

If you can help find Frederick Britton, call Savannah-Chatham Metro Police or Crimestoppers at (912) 234-2020.
