One of the busiest bridges in South Carolina is back open this morning after an unusual accident.
The Arthur Ravenel Bridge that crosses the Cooper River, connecting Charleston to Mount Pleasant, was closed for about eight hours.
A sedan was wedged underneath a fuel tanker truck.
The driver of the sedan had minor injuries, but the primary concern was the leaking diesel fuel.
Haz-mat crews were able to close off the drainage system, and then there was no need for a water cleanup in the river below.
