(WSMV)  If Tennessee inventor Dave Reynolds has his way, the bathroom experience may never be the same.

Reynolds thinks toilets should glow in the dark, and he’s not joking.

“I kept telling this story over and over to people and they laughed,” Reynolds said. “And I said, ‘One day you’re not going to laugh at me. One day you’re going to go to the bathroom and think of me.'”

For Reynolds, a glow-in-the-dark toilet just makes sense.

“Not right now, but at 3 in the morning, that’s when it comes together,” he said. “When you get up in the middle of the night, forgot you installed it, turn the corner and go, wow.”

Boxes of Potty Glow toilet seats are now stored under his Wilson County home and are shipping worldwide. Reynolds said it’s not a novelty, but a necessity for families with little children.
