Johnson High School is looking for a new head football coach. Thomas Tedder tells the WSAV Blitz he’s leaving after two years leading the Atomsmashers.
The news was first reported by Savannah Morning News sports reporter Dennis Knight.
Tedder says, “… the two sides parted ways.”. In two season Tedder led the Smashers into the playoffs his first season, winning eight seven games overall. He’s most proud of sending 12 kids off to play college football. He says, “…I’m glad to have had the opportunity.”
Tedder has no intentions of moving and expects to have a new opportunity in the next several weeks.
Tedder and his Atomsmashers played on the WSAV Thursday Night Blitz Game of the Week each season.
